  • Re-engineered the existing game API to increase security and eliminate bot fraud

  • Worked with multiple game vendors to establish new security standards for API communication

  • Worked with multiple game vendors to integrate new games under tight marketing deadlines

  • Developed server-side APIs in C# and a client-side API communication framework in FLASH Action Script

  • Created API SDK for game vendors including complete documentation, integration utilities, encryption utilities, and sample games in FLASH

  • Worked extensively with encryption algorithm compatibility between C# and ActionScript – including 128 bit AES and xxTEA

  • Performed statistical analysis on tens of millions of game play records to gather metrics used to distinguish Human activity from bot activity

  • Developed and deployed the DimsNeT External Interface (DXI) windows service and web administration console for the state of Washington. DXI transfers voter registration data from counties running the DimsNeT voter registration software to the Secretary of State's voter registration database through a series of web services

  • Re-purposed the core DXI WA architecture to develop a version of DXI for counties running DimsNeT in the state of California

  • Envisioned and developed core DXI multi-threaded architecture which dynamically loads transaction processing assemblies through reflection

  • Developed DXI software responsible for processing, validating, and auditing millions of voter registration records in real-time, 24/7

Independent Contractor

  • Developed a web services security framework based on Microsoft’s WSE for Red Folder. This security framework is now being used to secure the franchise portal for one of American Express’ divisions. This framework provides x.509 certificate encryption through secure conversation (WS-SecureConversation) as well as custom policy based (WS-Security, WS-Policy) authentication functionality. The framework also provides a custom Security Context Token manager which enables secure conversation across load balanced web service servers by storing serialized tokens in MS SQL Server. The framework provides the most advanced web service security now available.

  • Worked with AQT Solutions to re-work and finalize the web-based ASP.NET instructor grading interface for their Aviation Training Management System.

  • Worked with Allen Interactions on a variety of AICC and SCORM compliant FLASH-based e-Learning courses.

  • Worked with John Padlo Designs developing various Customer Management and Order Fulfillment solutions for their clients in classic ASP.

  • Worked on various technology solutions (networking, hardware, etc.) for small-medium size companies.

  • Developed all code, interfaces, and graphics for the the patent-pending AudioFormula custom commercial audio solution.

  • Developed windows services using ASM, C++ and .NET C# which perform AIFF->MP3 encoding for audio files uploaded by composers.

  • Worked with several well known composers and studios(COMCAST, HighNoon, EA Games) to develop and refine a business process that will significantly impact the way commercial audio is applied to media.

  • Developed, supported, and maintained the code base (ASP, VC++, Javascript, HTML) and database (MS SQL Server 2000) for an Enterprise scale web-based Learning management system.

  • Developed a custom learning management solution for the LA County Fire Department in ASP.NET(C#)

  • Managed the entire development and support department.

  • Acted as both project manager and developer to facilitate the learning management system implementations for companies and organizations including but not limited to Ascential Software, SAS Institute, Proctor and Gamble, Affymetrix, Allied, Humana, North East ISD, Auburn University, Rentokil, and the Los Angeles Country fire department; this often included custom development to meet customer requirements.

  • Worked on-site with international customers including SAS in Germany and MPC (a joint venture between Modern Industries and P&G) in Saudi Arabia.

  • Developed various small application "helpers" in a variety of languages to reduce time to market and add business value.

  • Handled on-site/off-site demos and sales for large potential clients with exotic business needs.
